Our Mission: To strengthen the legacy of education in trucking. 

Our Vision:  To be recognized as the premier national association positively representing women in the trucking industry. 

Founded in 2011, we serve our community and continue to grow with the help of our donors and volunteers who make our mission possible.

The Foundation raises funds from individuals, foundations, and corporations, to make scholarships available in the trucking industry, in the fields of Safety, Driving, Technical and Leadership.  We exist to help turn jobs into careers through education and training. 

The Foundation is supported by the Women In Trucking Association, and led by a Board of Directors. It is a 501(c)(3) organization and contributions may be tax deductible. Our Tax ID is FEIN: 27-4170268.

The Women In Trucking Foundation is supported by the Women In Trucking Association, a 501(c)(6) membership organization with the mission to encourage the employment of women in the trucking industry, promote their accomplishments, and minimize obstacles faced by women working in the industry, including: 

• Educate and raise awareness for women’s issues

• Promote career opportunities for women in the industry

• Improve conditions for women already working in the industry

• Increase the number of women in leadership positions in the industry

• Increase the number of women drivers

• Serve as a resource about women working in the industry

The Women In Trucking Association was founded in 2007. In just a few short years, through the support of thousands of transportation-related companies, drivers and dedicated individuals, this organization has made significant strides in accomplishing its mission.
