Meet our amazing Fall 2018 class of scholarship recipients who are changing the face of trucking.

The Women in Trucking Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that supports ambitious students, drivers, and professionals in the trucking industry who seek to grow their skills through classroom and vocational training. We are a community of corporations, foundations and individuals who value professional development in the trucking industry and are committed to seeing it grow.

We raise funds for scholarships, evaluate applications, and distribute funds to schools to ensure that women in the trucking industry have the support they need to grow their skills and themselves. In turn, the trucking industry benefits from a diverse and well-trained workforce that has continuous opportunities for development.  Check out the press release about our latest recipients!

Changing Lives 

"I plan on successfully completing a training class for CDL drivers training.  I want to be able to live comfortably with a good paying job, and I believe I can do that with a CDL.  I want to be able to provide a better foundation for my family. I'm getting this certificate so I can help my family and myself."

The Women In Trucking Foundation is supported by the Women In Trucking Association, a 501(c)(6) membership organization with the mission to encourage the employment of women in the trucking industry, promote their accomplishments, and minimize obstacles faced by women working in the industry, including: 

  • Educate and raise awareness for women’s issues
  • Promote career opportunities for women in the industry
  • Improve conditions for women already working in the industry
  • Increase the number of women in leadership positions in the industry
  • Increase the number of women drivers
  • Serve as a resource about women working in the industry

The Women In Trucking Association was founded in 2007. In just a few short years, through the support of thousands of transportation-related companies, drivers and dedicated individuals, this organization has made significant strides in accomplishing its mission.

Get Involved:

There are a variety of easy ways for anyone to help the WIT Foundation. Whether it's donating an item for auction, publicizing scholarships to students, or making a direct donation, all support is warmly welcomed.  Whether you're a driver, a CEO, a student, or a foundation, you CAN make a difference in the lives of others. Here's a few easy ways: 

HELP FUND SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarships are funded by individuals, foundations and corporations. Any support is deeply appreciated. 

DONATE AN ITEM FOR AUCTION

The WIT Foundation holds regular online auctions to raise funds. Donations with a $50 value or greater are welcomed.
